Analytic Description
This BB air pistol is styled after a real non blowback weapon and it functions very similarly to the real steel. It is a very hefty gun made entirely from metal which adds to its shooting realism. Even the magazine looks and feels like a real 9mm magazine with similar weight and dimensions. The KM-42ZDHN of KWC shoots very accurately for a BB airgun and has very good performance. If you like the Classic real weapon and if you are into airguns or are looking for a gun you can use when getting to the range, then the KM-42ZDHN of KWC is exactly what you need.
Trigger Pull: The trigger pull on the KWC KM-42ZDHN all Metal Non-Blowback CO2 BB 4,5mm Pistol is about medium to hard but definitely there are heavier trigger pulls on many double action only Airguns. It is of interest that the trigger has the look of a 1911 and not your typical lever styled trigger. I did find the trigger to be very usable and the release point is smooth and fairly predictable.
Accuracy: During shooting tests the KWC all Metal KM 42ZDHN non Blowback CO2 BB Pistol was found to be of outstanding accuracy. The result was around a 2.5 inch grouping from a 20 foot away free standing position. I also have put it through my Chrony Chronograph and got very close to the manufacturers 397 claimed feet per second. My 8 shot average on a new CO2 was actually 422 FPS."
Build Quality: The build quality for the KWC KM-42ZDHN all Metal Non-Blowback CO2 BB 4,5mm Pistol is very good. This is an almost all metal 4,5mm BB gun with a few exceptions like the hammer, trigger. magazine release, slide catch and grip safety. Pretty much everything else is metal including the slide, frame, magazine, and even the grips. The finish is very good and since there is lots of metal with minimal moving parts and less to go wrong, this should make for a very reliable pistol.
Realism: The KWC KM-42ZDHN CO2 Pistol is very close to the look, weight, and feel of the real steel. Even the 1911 style trigger was replicated as best as it could be given it being double action only.

• Very Accurate Replica of the real weapon.
• Very affordable and good value for the money.
• Rail for mounting accessories.
• Nice sights with white dots front and back.
• Recessed barrel for added realism.
• True 1911 style trigger even though it is double action only.
Comments:
For a relatively inexpensive all Metal BB gun you get a lot for your money with the KM 42ZDHN, most importantly a very accurate reproduction of the real steel. If you're a 1911 fan and want to pick up an steel BB gun that won't set you back too much, then the KM 42ZDHN would make a great choice with it's heavy full metal weight, full size drop out metal magazine, accurate reproduction of the real steel.
